Welcome Back!

Today I have a fairly serious topic to write about. I’ve seen so many articles about A.I’s role in the future of jobs, but so few cover this topic. Why? I’ve long believed that service sector jobs would make women more susceptible to automation. I call this “pink collar” automation. Eventually A.I. will disrupt our education and healthcare system impacting professions like Teachers and Nurses.

But well before that, everyone from HR specialists to accountings clerks, many of whom are also women will be impacted, including marketing and content departments. Illustrators, personal brand experts, designers - also many of whom are women, the list goes on. In this article, I will attempt to take a preliminary stab at this complex and difficult topic.

So why is it the case that Generative A.I. might impact white-collar jobs held by women the most in the coming years? And where does that leave society?
