The landscape of generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) is in a rapid state of evolution these days and while it’s a horrible time to raise funds for most startups, if you are in the Generative A.I. space, you might have an easier time of it.
Sakana AI is a new R&D-focused company based in Tokyo, Japan. The company is founded by David Ha and Llion Jones. It’s super interesting because they founders say they are creating a new kind of foundation model based on nature-inspired intelligence.
