How do consulting firms see the impact of A.I. with the "fast-forward" of LLMs?

I’m in summer mode, so you can expect my articles to be less frequent, shorter, more casual and less focused than usual, including more guest posts in the second half of July.
I think there is some value in summarizing reports by the likes of McKinsey, Gartner and others.
Usually my interest is in their focus is related to their analysis of the future of work and jobs. Like I have summarized from Goldman Sachs, McKinsey and the World Economic Forum’s reports in previous posts.
I recently came across Gartner’s “Executive Guide” and thought it was another high-level general introduction to Generative A.I. that my point to some clues to B2B and Enterprise adoption.
This article will therefore take on the role of summarizing, aggregating and illustrating that consulting perspective. As you know, Gartner, Inc. is an American technological research and consulting firm based in Stamford, Connecticut that conducts research on technology and shares this research both through private consulting as well as executive programs and conferences, among other things.
