There is nothing but big claims (10.000x more efficient) on Mignon.ai's homepage, they don't reference any technical papers or any news. Their homepage was established back in 2020, they have a total of 5 employees registered on LinkedIn.
Fred with all due respect, these are extremely early stage Startups, they are pre-seed. I find all of them fascinating. The UK with their Universities have absurd talent beds right in the backyard. Hard to imagine they won't deliver on some of the world's leading startups in general related to A.I., A.I. chips, etc...
Thanks Frederik for the comment - Mignon was founded in March 2023 as a Spinout from Newcastle University, based on extensive academic research from within Newcastle µSystems research group, lead by Mignon co-founders Professor Alex Yakovlev and Dr Rishad Shafik.
There is a wealth of academic literature on the underlying technology both from the group at Newcastle, as well as groups at other Institutions such as CAIR at the University of Agder in Norway.
Mignon is new into the space and such the technology papers, including the benchmarking research all have limited distribution.
