Hey Everyone,

If Microsoft is willing to spend $10 Billion for 49% of OpenAI and the ability to onboard its tech into its Cloud and products, is that even ethical?

Here’s the thing, in the spirit of the democratization of A.I., this is monopoly capitalism not at its best I argue, but at its worst.

Large language models are quickly becoming an essential platform for people to innovate, apply AI to solve big problems, and imagine what’s possible. Should Microsoft be among the sole stewards of these Generative A.I. and their foundational models?

I respect Azure AI, but what it is doing is wrong.

I put this poll up to get ideas on if this could lead to a new duopoly, you can see it here.
