A solopreneur or Solo Entrepreneur is a startup of one person. Nobody has a greater incentive to automate tasks with AI than this type of founder. Just as the playbook of AI native (& lean) startups formed in 2024 and 2025, the playbook for AI and solopreneurs could be just around the corner. As AI literacy improves solopreneurs will tend to be those who are experts in automating tasks with software, AI and freelancers removing friction for their customers and their product.
Today about half of solopreneurs actively use Generative AI to automate some of their tasks. This is also a story the U.S. exporting in technologically globally. As the likes of Nvidia, OpenAI, Anthropic and others push American AI to sovereigns (foreign Nations) and their consumers, “vibe coding” itself has become a vehicle for the distribution of American AI products, LLMs and compute (AI chips).
