Robotics have seen a really good year in 2022, I’ve noticed many examples of this many of which I cover here. The headline of Google working on robots that generate their own code really peaked my interest. I find Generative AI of coding autocompletes and coding buddies among the more interesting side of what happened in 2022 in artificial intelligence.

While it’s true that humans have gotten pretty good at programming systems for specific tasks, there’s a big, open-ended question of: and then what?
